The Vogue Women of the Year Awards were held in Mumbai on Saturday, and it was a star-studded event. Some of the biggest names of the film industry like Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, among others, apart from coming out in their stylish best for the occasion, were also honoured with awards. The actor, who featured in her first film ‘Veere Di Wedding’ after becoming a mother for the first time, tasted success with the story of a group of four friends.
Alia Bhatt: Vogue and Lamborghini Youth Icon Of The Year and Meghna Gulzar: Vogue Filmmaker Of The Year
The actor-director duo, who delivered the super-successful ‘Raazi’, which entered the Rs 100-crore club, posed with Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt at the event. Even her mother Soni Razdan had played a pivotal role in the film.
Ranbir Kapoor: Vogue Man Of The Year
Alia’s boyfriend Ranbir was not present at the event, but was one of those honoured at the event. The actor had delivered the biggest hit of his career ‘Sanju’ earlier this year.
Vicky Kaushal: Vogue Trends Disruptor Of The Year (Male)
Vicky, who was a crucial member of both the films involving the couple, was also lauded for his performance in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Manmarziyaan.’
Radhika Apte: Vogue Trends Disruptor Of The Year (Female)
Another actor to have an amazing year was Radhika Apte. She featured in successful and critically acclaimed ventures like ‘Sacred Games’, ‘AndhaDhun’, ‘Pad Man’, ‘Lust Stories’ and ‘Ghoul.’
Ayushmann Khurrana: Vogue Man Of The Moment
The month of October summed up the year for him, delivering back-to-back critically acclaimed commercial successes, ‘AndhaDhun’ and ‘Badhaai Ho.’
