The fact that Tiger Shroff adores Hrithik Roshan and considers him an idol is well-known. Be it bodybuilding or dance, one can be sure that Tiger must’ve picked up a trick or two from his senior. However, the admiration is not just one-way. Hrithik Roshan has proved that even the mentor can be inspired by his protégé. The ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’ star recently opened up on how he was inspired to lose weight, after being in the company of the younger star for ‘War’.
In a recent interview, Hrithik Roshan shared how he was required to put on weight for his role in ‘Super 30.’ The actor had played the role of mathematician-educationist Anand Kumar, and had to look much fuller, particularly around his waist. Hrithik Roshan revealed that his waist had grown to 38 inches as tried to look convincing for the part. Once the shoot was over, he immediately stepped into the movie ‘War’, where he was expected to look a lot fitter. Hrithik Roshan shared that working with Tiger Shroff on the movie inspired him to get fit. Hrithik got so inspired that he pushed himself hard and succeeded in bringing his waist back to 30 inches.
Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff are seen performing some intense action sequences in the film. While their well-built physiques are evident in the promos, their dance skills together in the track ‘Jai Jai Shivshankar’ raised excitement for the movie even more. The plot of the movie revolves around Hrithik’s character, who was associated with the defence forces, and even inspired Tiger's character. However, in a turn of events, Hrithik’s character tries to make life miserable for Tiger and his team, as they both seek to win the ‘war’.
'War'
‘War’ has been directed by Siddharth Anand and also stars Vaani Kapoor. She is romantically associated with Hrithik Roshan’s character, as their chemistry was well highlighted in their track ‘Ghungroo’. ‘War’ has been produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films and is gearing up for release on October 2. The movie is set to clash with Telugu multistarrer ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’.
