A video doing rounds on social media shows how fan touches Ranbir's feet and later sits on floor next to him, asking him to open present, while Ranbir is on couch. This didn't go down with netizens and y started trolling actor for his arrogant behaviour.

One wrote: "Is Rabir a God or something? Why is he t telling his fan to sit on couch #disappointingranbir", while or user wrote: "Fan hai BT he is t servant look at that guy is sitting down.. 🙁". While ar user wrote: "Ranbir is so rude ...ek baar b upar baithne nahi bola usko....is ghe ko bhi iska fan banna tha". Ar dropped a comment saying: "Who is humble ? Ranbir Kapoor? My god. How arrogant he is.. kise Tarah se baat kr rha hai fan k Sath.as if daya kr rha hai.. t even asking him to sit on sofa how mean he is" [sic]
