'No Entry' actor Fardeen Khan who was criticised for his 'weight gain' recently spoke about the same at an event recently. He commented about how he was body-shamed on the Internet and said: "I have been bashed unnecessarily. I think we need to get over these damn things. I really don't care about it. I am what I am and I can see myself in the mirror. Whatever is deserved is deserved and what's not is not. I just laugh it all off. I don't read much about myself these days."

Back in 2016, when Fardeen Khan's pictures of weight gain had gone viral, the actor took to his Facebook account to give it back to all the haters. “Not ashamed neither shamed. Not offended. Not depressed. Not blind either. Am I happy? Emphatically! Infact, living the happiest chapter thus far with lbs to show for it. Happy to have been the weekends entertainment for all you trollers. If you have had enough fun please take the time to look at your own reflection. If trolling is what makes you feel better about yourself, you have to seriously think about your future prospects. My best wishes," he wrote back then.

Fardeen attended the launch of his cousin sister Farah Khan Ali's book "Farah Khan - A Bejewelled Life" in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Talking about her sister's book, Fardeen said: "I am very excited. It's kind of difficult to believe that 25 years of our careers have gone by and we all have grown up together. It just seems like yesterday. We are just happy and proud for her."

Is he making a comeback to the silver screen, "In different capacities, yes, I want to act. But collectively, I want to produce and direct things," Fardeen concluded.

On the professional front, Khan made his first acting debut with film Prem Aggan (1998). Fardeen was last seen in 'Dulha Mil Gaya' in 2010.

In 2017, Fardeen welcomed a baby boy and announced the news on social media. Fardeen is married to Mumtaz's daughter Natasha Madhvani, and the couple has two kids Diani and Azarius together.
