Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been setting couple goals ever since the two got hitched in Lake Como in Italy. The duo has since returned to the country and held multiple receptions after which Ranveer jumped into film promotions full tilt. Now, the adorable B-town jodi finally has some time for themselves.
In a video that has surfaced on social media, the two were spotted at the airport as they headed for a much needed holiday. Clad in all black, the couple seemed to almost be twinning as they walked into the airport hand in hand. In the video, Ranveer can be seen opening Deepika's car door and as she gets out, he can be leading her as she has a bright smile on her face. Of course, the actor has already discussed that he will be taking a break only after 'Simmba' comes out.
After finishing the plethora of receptions in Mumbai and Bengaluru, he had jumped headfirst into promotions of his latest release 'Simmba'. Recently, the actor even visited random theatres in the city to see the audience's reaction to the Rohit Shetty directorial. So in light of such hectic past few weeks, a private holiday for the newlyweds was really due. Meanwhile, there are speculations this is their official honeymoon post-nuptials, which could well be true.
Coming to the professional front, Ranveer has a challenging and exciting 2019 ahead for him. He will be donning the shoes of legendary Indian cricket captain and all-rounder Kapil Dev in the film '83', which is about India's first historic world cup win. He will be beginning prep for this film where he will also have to learn the unique bowling action of the former cricketer. Deepika, on the other hand, will be doing a film titled 'Chhapaak', which is based on an acid attack victim and will be directed by Meghna Gulzar.
