What is Janhvi Kapoor's 'mannat' for a not-yet-announced film?
Speaking at a session at Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star, 2019 on Sunday, Janhvi Kapoor revealed that she auditioned for a project recently & has a mannat for it.

Janhvi Kapoor speaking at a session at Jio MAMI Movie Mela with Star, 2019 on Sunday revealed that she has auditioned for a project and is still waiting to hear from the makers. She also said that she is really looking forward to be a part of that not-yet-announced film and has kept a mannat for it, which is -- that she is avoiding eating non-veg till she hears from them and signs the project. She further confessed that 'it is really difficult' to follow this but she believes she will get the role.
When asked which was the most strange place where she was asked to a selfie with fan, Janhvi said it was at Tirupati temple. "I get excited when people ask want to a picture with me but with all the climbing and when on the 300th step at the Tirupati temple, when you are so tired and don't know what's happening in life... you get asked for a selfie." To this, Patakhaa actress Radhika Madaan teased her by saying that she is a religious girl and Janhvi concluded the topic by saying: "Main Dhaarmik ladki hoon, in a mini skirt" (everyone burst out laughing).
On the professional front:
Janhvi Kapoor will essay the lead role in an upcoming venture titled 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl' which is based on the life of IAF officer Gunjan Saxena, who is one of the first female pilots to fly in combat. She played an important role in rescuing injured soldiers during the Kargil War in 1999 and was awarded the gallantry Shaurya Vir Award for displaying courage during the war. This is going to be the first time Janhvi Kapoor will be portraying a real-life person following her debut in 'Dhadak'. Directed by Sharan Sharma, 'The Kargil Girl' also stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Angad Bedi and Manav Vij in pivotal roles. The upcoming biopic is jointly produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios and is set to hit theatres on March 13, 2020.
