When Bhumika Chawla Opened Up About Being Replaced By Kareena Kapoor In Jab We Met

In a conversation with RJ Siddharth Kanan, Bhumika Chawla said she received many film offers after massive success of Satish Kaushik directorial Tere Naam. However, she was always selective of projects she signed for. She furr disclosed that she signed up for a big film but soon after production changed, entire star cast along with film title also changed. She also said that is she would have done those films, it would have been quite a different scenario for her.

She said, " only time I felt b was when I signed Jab We Met and it didn't happen. I was first one, Bobby (Deol) and me, when it was called Train. n, it was Shahid (Kapoor) and me, and n Shahid and Ayesha (Takia), and n Shahid and Kareena (Kapoor)." After she moved on from that project, Munna Bhai MBBS came her way. 

Bhumika continued by saying, " I h signed Munna Bhai MBBS but it didn’t happen. Kannathil Muthamittal with Mani (Ratnam) sir didn’t happen." She also opened up and talked about her meeting with Raju sir. She said that Raju sir disclosed to her that she was removed from films t because she did something wrong. He said that things like se often happen in entertainment industry. 

When Bobby Deol was replaced in Jab We Met

Kareena Kapoor Khan insisted filmmaker take her n love interest, Shahid Kapoor. refore, latter replaced Bobby Deol. In an interview with a leing news portal, Deol revealed same in 2017. He said that he h enjoyed Imtiaz Ali’s Socha Na Tha which featured Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia in le roles.

After this, Bobby Deol tried working with director in a film titled Geet, which eventually was titled Jab We Met. Moreover, Geet was named after Kareena Kapoor’s character in film. According to a report, Deol ded that a studio named Shri Ashtavinayak wanted to sign him. He agreed to it as script was rey. Bobby Deol also proceeded to talk to Kareena Kapoor but producers thought he was making an expensive film.

Later on, Bobby Deol got to kw that Kareena Kapoor h signed film and got filmmaker to take Shahid Kapoor to play leing character, much to his surprise. He ded that he was also supposed to work in Highway, but it could t happen. Talking about his feelings for Imtiaz Ali, Bobby Deol revealed that he does t have any hard feelings for filmmaker. But he always told that he would t watch director’s movies until he created one with him, which would be his best one.
