World Mental Health Week 2019: Aamir Khan shares important message
As the world geared up to mark Mental Health Week, Aamir Khan shared that it was important to share the pain with close ones and seek help in such situations.

With increase in stress levels for various reasons, depression and or mental health issues have been on rise. However, good news is that re’s been more emphasis on mental health in recent years, after being looked down upon or spoken in hush-hush tones since s. While many popular celebrities over years couldn’t take stress any more, several stars all over world have spoken about battling issues and winning over it recently. Many such stories would be discussed as world gears up for Mental Health Awareness Week from October 6. Aamir Khan sent an extremely important mess on occasion, highlighting how innumerable factors le to fear and shame, but it was important to share pain with close ones and seek help.

Previously, he h also shared a mess from Psychiatrist Dr Harish Shetty, who shared an im with text: "Emotional hygience is as important as physical hygiene. Being aware and sharing difficult emotions relieves stress. Physical exercise can also beat stress. Tackling it early prevents depression. Any one can suffer from depression. Timely help works.”
Stars speak out
Before Aamir, many stars have opened up on ir own troubles with issues like Depression. One of most table names in this has been Deepika Pukone, who even set up her a organisation for same, Live Love Laugh Foundation.

"As far as conversation around causes of mental health is concerned, I think we've come a long way. But we certainly have a long way to go in terms of creating more awareness,” Deepika said at an event in September.
She ded, "I think conversation has opened up. I don't think that re's as much stigma as it used to be four years ago.”
Zaira Wasim, who will be seen in Sky is Pink and has quit films for religious reasons, h also highlighted how depression can affect even young ones.
