Yami Gautam attends Rising Himachal at Dharamshala; meets PM Modi
Actor Yami Gautam attended the Global Investor's Meet 2019 at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh in a two-day event inaugurated by Prime minister Narendra Modi.

In the midst of the release of her much-anticipated film, Bala, Yami Gautam reached Dharamshala on Wednesday to attend a two-day event of the Rising Himachal Global Investors' Meet 2019. She is the chosen brand ambassador for the event as she originally belongs to Himachal Pradesh. The actor even took to Instagram and posted a picture of her in a salmon coloured outfit.

The actor extended a warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as she shared the stage with the dignitaries including the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Jai Ram Thakur and the state industries minister, Bikram Thakur. At the event, Yami Gautam said that it was a humbling experience for her to be in the presence of the PM. She also praised the Himachal Pradesh state government for their efforts in the overall development of the state. The Chief Minister's official Instagram account also shared a photo of the event with a vote of thanks.

Yami Gautam hails from the town of Chandigarh and has roots in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh. Her career as a model and an actor caused her to shift to Mumbai.

What's next for Yami Gautam?
Yami Gautam is all set to grace the big screen with the upcoming Bala along with Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters on November 8. The actor is reportedly filming with Vikrant Massey for the next, Ginny weds Sunny. Directed by Puneet Khanna, the much-anticipated film will hit the theatres in 2020. Reportedly, Yami has been roped in for Agra Ka Dabra. The movie also stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Taapsee Pannu in the leading roles.
