Yash Raj Films in 2020: Upcoming movies of the production house on its 50th anniversary

Yash Raj Films have brought forward some of the most excellent and memorable movies in the Bollywood film industry. The production house is one of the biggest and has been giving their fair share of hit movies to Bollywood. Founded in 1970 by Yash Chopra, the production house will complete 50 years in 2020. Some big movies starring the biggest of names have been lined up for the year 2020.

Here are some movies that will release in 2020:

Krrish 4 

The fourth installment of the Krrish series will star Hrithik Roshan and Kriti Kharbanda. The movie will be directed by Hrithik's father Rakesh Roshan. Reportedly, the film will start rolling in January 2020.

Street Dancer 3D

Street Dancer 3D will star Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. It is a story of rising street dancers. The movie will release on January 24. 

Shamshera

The movie Shamshera is directed by Karan Malhotra. The movie stars Vaani Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt. It is slated to release on July 31, 2020.

Prithviraj

Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of Prithviraj Chauhan in a movie to be released in 2020. The movie is titled as Prithviraj will is being directed by Chandra Prakash Dwivedi, best known for directing the 1991 television historical drama Chanakya.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar

With Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer Singh will experiment in a comedy genre. Actor turned writer-director Divyang Thakkar will helm the movie. The movie will also star Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey.

The announcements of these movies releasing under the banner of Yash Raj films have sent a frenzy among fans. Fans are speculating that 2020 will be a gala year for the house. It will be in the name of the celebration of 50 successful years in Bollywood.
