'You have a great sense of humour', says Comedian Kapil Sharma after meeting PM Narendra Modi

 Actor-comedian Kapil Sharma recently shared a picture with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media following their meeting at the inauguration event of the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai. He praised PM Modi for his 'great sense of humour'.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai on Saturday, January 19. The event was attended by Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and Central Board of Film Certification chief Prasoon Joshi, among other dignitaries.

Several A-listers from Bollywood including Asha Bhosle, AR Rahman, Randhir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Karan Johar, Kangana Ranaut, Ramesh Sippy, Rohit Shetty, Randhir Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Raj Kumar Santoshi, Jeetendra, Aanand L Rai, Badshah, Gauri Shinde, Asha Parekh, Divya Dutta, Poonam Dhillon, Imtiaz Ali, and Kunal Kohli, and others, were spotted attending the event. Joining the bandwagon was actor-comedian Kapil Sharma who posted a picture with the honourary PM on social media following the meeting.

Sharing the picture on Instagram where the comedian can be seen greeting PM Modi, he said that it was 'great knowing his inspiring ideas and progressive views about the film industry and the nation at large. Interestingly, he also praised the PM's great sense of humour, as he captioned the post saying, "Respected pm Sh @narendramodi ji,it was nice meeting you and great knowing ur inspiring ideas and progressive views about our film industry and our nation. N sir I must say you have a great sense of humour too! regards 🙏"

While giving his speech addressing the film fraternity, Prime Minister Narendra Modi drew reference from Vicky Kaushal's latest film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike as he quoted the iconic slogan, 'How's the Josh?' The country chief's move was cheered with a huge round of applause by the audience as they can be heard replying to it saying "High Sir!"

Meanwhile, ace-comedian Kapil Sharma is back with a bang after a much-needed hiatus as he kick-started the new year with 'The Kapil Sharma Show', that has made it to the top already as far as TRP's are concerned. The second season of the show opened with a TRP of 3.4 and raked in 3.2 over the weekend, with 'Super Dancer' following in. On the personal front, Kapil Sharma tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in Jalandhar on December 12, last year.
