Zeenat Aman lists rules of engagement for her followers

Zeenat Aman recently took to her Instagram handle to share a candid picture of herself "frolicking in the rain". Sharing how she was thinking about her growing Instagram followers, the veteran actress laid down an elaborate list of rules. She dubbed these rules as her "boundaries" that she expects her followers to comply with. Towards the end of the lengthy post, Aman also asked her followers if there are any other "online hygiene and etiquette tips" they follow. 


Zeenat asked her followers to not make the comment sections under her posts a place of hate, abuse or gossip. She specifically asked them to not pull another woman down in a bid to compliment her. Spams and forwards will lead to an "instant block" and the actress also specified that she does not appreciate being tagged in unrelated posts. The actress also pointed out how arguments in the comments section make those involved, look "utterly foolish". Zeenat also had a special note directed at media portals, stating how they must quote her correctly instead of twisting her words.

Zeenat Aman admits she is 'trigger happy'

Aman's post enunciated that despite her lengthy list of rules, she would always welcome a difference of opinion. She, however, pointed out, "I just do not have the patience for trolls and am quite trigger-happy when it comes to the 'block' button." Aman went on to acknowledge how social media can often be a hateful space evoking "comparison and controversy". She also expressed how she expects her set of rules to prevent herself and people from marching down that path.
