On Thursday, NBC anunced conclusion of  police procedural comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine with its upcoming eighth season. Dan Goor and Michael Schur series will end in  2021-22 brocast season, revealed former in a statement released on Brooklyn Nine-Nine's official Twitter handle. Soon after news broke internet, '#Brooklyn99' started trending on Twitter as ardent fans of American TV show flocked to micro-blogging platform to express ir disappointment.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine last season's anuncement leaves fans disheartened

Yesterday, an update about Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 8 was shared by makers on ir Twitter handle and anunced that much-awaited season 8 will be last season of NBC series. Co-creator Dan Goor broke news in an official statement by taking a stroll down memory lane and shared his memories from  show, which first aired on Fox in 2013. It was also revealed that  farewell season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine will comprise just 10 episodes, which will mark American comedy series' shortest season till date.

In his statement, Goor wrote, "I’m so thankful to NBC and Universal Television for allowing us to give se characters and our fans ending y deserve." He also ded, "Ending show was a difficult decision, but ultimately, we felt it was best way to hour characters, story and our viewers. I kw some people will be disappointed it’s ending so soon, but honestly, I’m grateful it lasted this long." Along with releasing  statement on micro-blogging platform, series' Twitter handle quoted co-creator by writing, " way I see it, if this is to be our last ride n let us go out in a blaze of glory."
