Diljit Dosanjh's India Concert: The popular Punjabi singer-actor is set to bring his much-anticipated Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 to India, following its record-breaking success in the USA and Canada. The tour will cover 10 cities across the country. Pre-sale tickets, which went live on September 10, were sold out in under minutes. The regular tickets, released on September 12, also sold out within minutes.

While fans eagerly await the concerts, some have criticised the Amar Singh Chamkila star for the high ticket prices, with social media influencers comparing them to the international prices of his concerts. How expensive are Dil-Luminati India concert tickets compared to the USA and Canada?

The Indian leg of Diljit Dosanjh's Dil-Luminati Tour has ticket prices ranging from ₹1,499 for Silver Area seats to ₹19,999 for Fan Pit tickets. Golden Area tickets were sold for ₹3,999, ₹4,999 and ₹5,999. In Delhi, only two categories were available: Gold (Phase 3) at ₹12,999 and Fan Pit at ₹19,999.

In comparison, tickets for Diljit's USA and Canada concerts ranged from ₹4,194 to ₹12,582, with front-row seats costing between ₹40,497 and ₹59,882.

This price gap has sparked open discussions online, with Indian fans noting that Diljit's economy tickets in India cost ₹20,000, while questioning the staggering amount compared to the affordability in India and abroad. Some reports even noted that international artists typically charge around ₹8,000 to ₹12000 for tickets with its large lineup in India.

Diljit Dosanjh India Tour details

Earlier in September, Diljit Dosanjh announced the dates for the Indian leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour, which kicks off at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi on October 26 and will travel to 10 major cities across the country.

Following Delhi, the tour will proceed to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata and other cities. It will conclude with a show in Guwahati on December 29.
