BTS' seventh studio album 'Map of the Soul: 7' completes one year in the Billboard 200 charts. The album made its debut on February 21, 2020.

Popular K-pop band BTS released ir 7th studio album 'Map of Soul: 7' on February 21, 2020. With celebration of first anniversary of ir album release, it has also completed a whole year in charts of Billboard 200. Recently, Billboard Charts took to ir Twitter to anunce that album will be completing a year in top 200 and this week, it is on number 108. Check it out.

album is a follow-up of band's 2019 extended play 'Map of Soul: Persona'. band described album as 'deeply personal' and that it includes journey of seven years since ir debut. BTS collaborated with various international artists like Halsey, Ed Sheeran, Troye Sivan and Sia. During debut of ir album, y were number one on Billboard 200 charts.
band also released two singles along with album - 'Black Swan' and 'On'. Both singles mand to enter Billboard Hot 100 charts. album bagged Album of Year at 2020 Genie Music Awards, 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards, 2020 Melon Music Awards, and 46th People's Choice Awards. ir single 'On' won Best Pop, Best Choreography, and Best K-pop at 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.

Talking about songs, album consisted of fifteen new songs and ditional five songs from ir previous extended play. In an interview with Grammy, Suga opened up on album. He said that it is ir first full album and it took m a lot of time to create this. album has songs including Boy with Luv, Make it Right, Jamais Vu, Dionysus, Interlude: Show, Filter, My Time, Inner Child, Friends, Moon and many more.

band also anunced tour named Map of Soul tour, last year to promote both albums. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, y h to cancel it and h to reschedule. BTS went ahe with a pay-per-view virtual concert on October 10, 2020, which h over 900k viewers.
