BTS fans outrage over new bookazine's description, say 'they paved their own way'

BTS fans are outraging over a new bookazine's description which claims that Backstreet Boys and NSYNC paved the way for the Korean band. Read more.

BTS fans are called ARMY, who are w expressing ir frustration on social media over Time Magazine's collector's edition which is focused on Korean group's journey to massive success. product has been listed on Amazon and is titled 'TIME BTS: K-pop Band that Conquered World'. bookazine is all set to debut on July 31, 2020, and BTS ARMY members have w taken to social media and expressed ir frustration about upcoming bookazine's description.

description of upcoming special edition based on BTS begins with a question of how did seven guys from South Korea became worldwide sensations? description later goes on to showcase all things which will be included in book like fan art, interviews, photographs and original art.

Screenshots of product description started doing rounds which stated that "boy band hall of fame, including Backstreet Boys and NSYNC who paved way for BTS and have topped charts over years". description has since n been fixed but t before a number of BTS ARMY members came forward and criticised same.

bookazine is being published by Meredith Corporation who has come forward publically and stated that product p has been updated. As per spokesperson of Meredith, product description p which was doing rounds on internet was t actually meant to be final description.

Many of BTS fans thought that it was unfair to state that boybands like Backstreet Boys and NSYNC are actually responsible for paving a way for BTS, this attributing K-pop band's success to American boy bands.

Besides this, fans also came forward and raised ir voice for a supposed misidentification that happened on bookazine for Jimin, a BTS member. Meredith Corporation was also asked wher miscaption actually took place. To this, spokesperson replied saying that caption that misidentifies Jimin was actually issued by an external phot ncy and was t caught by ir own fact-checkers. Fans are raising ir voice w stating that boyband has t received proper representation in western media.
