Bollywood director claims no OTT platform for All We Imagine As Light

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta has claimed that Payal Kapia's Cannes winner All We Imagine As Light is facing difficulty in securing a platform for its digital debut. film scripted history by becoming first film from India to win Grand Prix award at Cannes Film Festival in May this year. On Monday night, Mehta shared a review of film by American news outlet New Yorker and said he has that "no OTT platform" has bought film as of yet.

Distributor reacts to director's claims 

Replying to Mehta's post, Spirit Media said in due time, movie will be me available on "screens even closer home". "We’re so grateful for all support from creative community! #AllWeImagineAsLight releasing in cinemas near you this Friday, Nov 22. And in due time on screens even closer home," banner said. All We Imagine as Light, a Malayalam-Hindi feature, is about Prabha, a nurse, who receives an unexpected gift from her long-estranged husband that throws her life into disarray. Her younger roommate, Anu, tries in vain to find a private spot in big city to be alone with her boyfriend.

One day two nurses go on a ro trip to a beach town with ir friend Parvati where mystical forest becomes a space for ir dreams to manifest, according to official plotline. Starring Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha and Chhaya Kam, All We Imagine As Light is an official Indo-French co-production between petit chaos from France and Chalk & Cheese and Anor Birth from India.
