Now, his sister has shared more details about the controversy, claiming that Ayesha converted to Islam so that she could marry Adnaan.

In a YouTube interview with GaliNews, Adnaan’s sister Iffat claimed that his brother’s wife's real name is Riddhi Jadhav. She revealed that Riddhi was born into a Hindu family, converted to Islam before marrying Adnaan and adopted the name Ayesha Shaikh post nuptials. She said in the interview, “Mere bhai ne nek kaam kya hai convert kar ke."

Apart from revealing these details, Adnaan's sister revealed the face of Ridhi Jadhav aka Ayesha Shaikh by posting some of her photos from 2020 on her Instagram Stories. The photos have further aggravated the controversy as Ayesha had previously requested the paps not to publish any pictures of her face during the wedding.

Meanwhile, Adnaan dismissed the allegations as false, expressing disappointment over the situation, and accused the other party of circulating fake FIR complaints. He even complained to the police station about it.

Adnaan Shaikh rose to recognition with his stint on the reality show Bigg Boss OTT 3. He is also part of the influencer group Team 07. Iffat Shaikh is a UPSC aspirant and YouTuber like her brother. Adnaan tied the knot with Ayesha on September 25 at what was a star-studded event.

The allegations of assault on Adnaan came to light through a video posted on the social media platform X, where his sister, standing outside the Bangur Nagar police station in Goregaon, revealed that she filed a complaint against him for allegedly assaulting her. “At last, the police have registered my complaint, and an FIR has been filed against my brother who attacked me,” she said in the video.
