Anupam Kher Shares Video With Rajinikanth From PM’s Oath Ceremony, Calls Him ‘God’s Gift To Mankind’

Anupam Kher and Rajinikanth both attended the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The actors arrived in the National Capital on June 9 to witness the historic event as the Prime Minister took oath for an iconic third term. The Saraansh actor took to his social media account to share a video with Thalaivar. 

Anupam Kher shares video with Rajinikanth 

On June 11, days after the PM’s oath ceremony, Anupam took to his Instagram on Tuesday and shared the video in which he can be seen in the company of the Tamil megastar. Anupam also expressed his admiration for ‘Thalaivar’. The video shows Anupam walking beside Rajinikanth as they are surrounded by security guards and many other people who were present at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony.

He then heaped praise on Rajinikanth, saying, "The one and only, Mr. Rajini-the-kanth! The one and only! The God's gift to mankind! Waah (wow).” A shy Rajinikanth looked into the camera and smiled without saying anything. Anupam wrote in the caption, "God’s gift to mankind! The one and only - #Rajnikanth! Jai Ho! (sic)”.

Anupam Kher shares excitement about the third consecutive term of the Modi government

Anupam Kher called himself fortunate to take part in the oath ceremony for the third time. While speaking to ANI on the third term of the Modi government, he said, "It is my good fortune that I am taking part in the oath ceremony for the third time. It is a historical moment. In the last 10 years, the prime minister has run the country very well."

He added, "I hope the new government under the PM's leadership will take the country ahead. We are the fifth largest economy in the world and can move up to being the third largest economy. I thank those who have invited me to this ceremony.” The Kashmir Files actor was joined by Vikrant Massey, Kangana Ranaut, Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor who were among the other actors who attended the swearing-in ceremony.
