Arijit Singh's highly anticipated UK tour finally began on September 15, after a delay due to his health concerns. The Indian vocalist and Bollywood sensation took to the stage at London's iconic O2 Arena, mesmerising a packed audience of 20,000 fans. In a sweet surprise, Shape of You singer Ed Sheeran made a special guest appearance, joining Arijit for an unforgettable performance of Perfect, leaving the crowd enchanted.

Ed Sheeran's collaborations with Indian artists are growing. Earlier this year, he performed with Diljit Dosanjh in Mumbai, and more recently, he joined Arijit Singh at a show in London.

On Monday, Arijit shared his excitement on Instagram, thanking Ed Sheeran for bringing his "perfect" touch to the performance, which took place on September 15. The two artists sang Sheeran’s popular song Perfect while fans lit up the venue in support.

Arijit captioned his post, "#london, thank you for showing up in such a magnificent way last night. Love and gratitude #arijitsinghlive. Thank you @teddysphotos for the #perfect moment (red heart emoji)," along with a few pictures from the event.

Arijit’s next performances are in Birmingham on September 16, followed by shows in Rotterdam and Manchester.

When Ed Sheeran visited India as part of his +- =/x Tour

In March 2024, Ed Sheeran visited India and performed in Mumbai as part of the final leg of his "+-=/x" (Mathematics) tour, which included stops across Asia and Europe. During his visit, he met with Bollywood star Farah Khan and actor Ayushmann Khurrana, with pictures and videos from these encounters quickly going viral.

Ayushmann shared his thoughts on meeting Ed Sheeran, saying, "I’ve admired Ed Sheeran as an artist for years. As a fellow musician, I’ve always wanted to connect with him and understand how his mind works. I surprised him with my mother’s homemade Pinni, which is our way of welcoming guests. Ed Sheeran also made appearances on Kapil Sharma's talk show and the Indian programme Breakfast with Champions alongside cricketer Rohit Sharma and host Gaurav Kapoor.
