Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Rohit Shetty-hosted stunt-based reality show has been creating a buzz since the latest season kicked off. After three months of intense challenges and controversies, Karan Veer Mehra has been crowned as the KKK 14 winner, with Krishna Shroff and Gashmeer Mahajani as runner-ups. Recently, the actor opened up about Asim Riaz's heated exchange with Rohit Shetty, which led to his ouster.

Karan Veer Mehra on Asim Riaz 'insulting' Rohit Shetty

In an interview with DNA, Karan Veer Mehra opened up about the controversy surrounding Asim Riaz's short appearance on the show. He said, “Ek toh bewakoofi ki itne bade show mein itne bade aadmi (Rohit Shetty) ke saath aisi badtameezi ki. Mujhe aur bhi galat lagta hai uske fans ke liye, who are in huge numbers and support him."

He further said, "He's living in his bubble that this fandom is forever. He thinks that his fans will always be there for him even in the next 10-20 years. He's living in his own bubble, in his Barbie world. He needs to get a reality check, and somewhere he needs medical help, this is what I feel. Everyone has their opinions."

When Asim Riaz talked about his outburst on Khatron Ki Khiladi 14 

At a recent live show, Asim Riaz was seen slamming the makers of Khatron ke Khiladi 14 for showcasing his reactions and chopping all other parts that made him lose his temper in the show. 

He said, “They say somebody is ruining the internet. It’s okay. It’s an action, there’s a reaction. But they only show my reaction. They don’t show action. They chop the clips and they show my reactions."

Asim Riaz could not perform the first task well as it was a water-based stunt. He had earlier pointed out that he is scared of water and does not know swimming. He lost the challenge and ended up in the danger zone. However, he did make a comment that became the center of a long-standing joke among the contestants. However, at a later task, the actor blamed the team of the reality show for setting up difficult stunts. 

Asim then challenged the makers saying, "Do it in front of me. I won't take a rupee from you guys. If you do it, I won't take a rupee, camera is on." When he returned, the host asked him the reason for being unable to perform the stunt. To this, Asim explained that he was unable to balance.  

In the episode, Asim Riaz lost his temper and the two had a verbal spat, Rohit asked the other contestant to stand down and not say anything. Later, it was shown that Rohit had expelled Asim and said, “I wish him all the luck but now he can't continue in this show. He has a point of view, no doubt about it and I respect that. I wish him all the luck. He is a young kid and may god bless him with success.” A video of the same was widely circulated online on social media.
