Athiya Shetty has a cheeky response to brother Ahan Shetty's emotional birthday post for her

Athiya Shetty turns 31 today. The actress celebrates her birthday on November 5 each year. To commemorate the occasion, her brother Ahan Shetty, also an actor, penned an emotional note. Athiya had an tongue-in-cheek response to the same.

Tadap actor Ahan Shetty took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of himself along side sister Athiya Shetty. The picture was from Athiya's wedding festivities held earlier this year, in January. Thanking her for being a formidable pillar to rely on during the tough times in his life, Ahan wished his sister love and happiness on her special day.

The caption to Ahan's post read, "Happy birthday Athiya I wish you so much love and happiness now and forever. You’ve been by my side since day one and have always stood by me through some of the toughest times in my life. I can’t even express just how much your love and care truly means to me."

While Ahan's post was all-heart and carried a certain poignancy, Athiya took the opportunity to slightly pull her brother's leg. The actress was quick to comment a "Are you ok?????????" under the picture shared by Ahan. The comment reflects the warm camaraderie shared by the Shetty siblings. Suniel Shetty also shared a red heart emoji acknowledging the post. 

On the work front, Athiya Shetty recently walked the ramp for designer duo Shivan and Narresh's collaboration with international shoe brand Birkenstock at the recent Lakme Fashion Week. Ahan on the other hand last appeared in 2021 film Tadap - his acting debut, opposite Tara Sutaria.
