Filipp Kirkorov, Lolita, other celebs invite massive outrage after attending an almost naked party

In a bizarre event, an almost naked party was recently organised in Russia and that has raised eyebrows globally. Several officials from Moscow have called the act a violation of the country's conservative values. The party was hosted by media personality Anastasia Ivleeva and featured several popular celebrities.

Who all attended Russia’s almost naked party?

Moscow Times reported that the party was held at Mutabor, a famous nightclub in the Russian capital. Several videos and pictures that surfaced from the party featured pop stars Filipp Kirkorov, Lolita and Dima Bilan alongside TV host and 2018 presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak.

A Newsweek report also claimed that Ksenia Sobchak who is Russian President Vladimir Putin’s goddaughter also attended the party.

Maria Butina, a Russian politician, used her X account to ask Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs if the party followed the rules against LGBTQ+ propaganda or went against the guidelines promoting ‘traditional Russian spiritual and moral values’.

Yekaterina Mizulina, who leads the Free Internet League, urged people to avoid participating in the event and wrote in Telegram, "Such hangouts are a shot in the foot of the entire policy pursued by the state. The partygoers live in a different world than the rest of the country. These people should be boycotted at the state level.”

For the unversed, the party was raided on its second day but the guests were more nicely dressed than the first day.

Ms. Ivleeva made fun of the criticism, saying on Telegram that the same people who enjoy looking at beautiful, slim models from the West act surprised when something similar happens in Russia. Russian news sources reported that men were kissing on the dance floor and their nude images were put on display.
