According to a report of Filmibeat, a reddit user has claimed that Gaurav’s mother is causing issues in their marriage. This has sparked huge buzz among the netizens about their relationship.

Reportedly, the post has also described the incident in which Ritu seemed upset due to her mother-in-law’s behaviour. It mentions an instance in Lucknow where Ritu appeared tense when colleagues visited her home. Another incident involved Gaurav allegedly shouting at Ritu in a hotel room. In Dubai, Ritu was reportedly told to agree quickly to something by her mother-in-law, which might have contributed to the couple's issues.

According to reports, Gaurav Taneja met Ritu Rathee in 2011 during their quarterly pilot training session. He was her senior and their friendship slowly blossomed into a romance, leading Gaurav to propose to Ritu in 2015. They then married on February 5, 2016. The couple have two daughters, Kiara and Pihu.

Gaurav was also a fitness enthusiast and already had a channel called Fit Muscletv that was gaining popularity. In 2017, he launched another YouTube channel, Flying Beast. Ritu quickly became a key figure on the channel, appearing in videos and assisting Gaurav with content creation. 

In a recent vlog, Gaurav mentioned that extramarital affairs are common among men, especially a few months after their child is born. This led to speculation about his own marriage and rumours of infidelity with his wife, Ritu Rathee.

Netizens suspected that when Gaurav talked about men cheating on their wives after the birth of their baby, he was talking about himself. This invited heavy trolling on social media.
