Govinda Health: After Gunshot Surgery, Actor Cuts Short Roadshow In Jalgaon As Health Declines

Govinda Health: actor who accidentally shot himself in early October, was seen participating in a rally in Jalgaon on Saturday. However, due to ill health, he cut short his campaign trail for Mahayuti candidates for November 20 polls and returned back home. Govinda was in Jalgaon to campaign in Muktainagar, Bodw, Pachora and Chopda. However, he returned home before he could finish off with entire roshow.

During rally, he asked people to stand by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and vote for ruling alliance comprising BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP. Govinda, a former Congress Lok Sabha MP is now part of Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.

Govinda recovers from gunshot wound

News surfaced on October 1 that Govinda accidentally shot himself in leg at his residence in Juhu. He underwent surgery same day and was discharged on October 4 with a cast in his leg.

Talking about accident on day he was discharged, Partner actor said, "I was about to leave for a show in Kolkata. It was about 5 in morning. Aur uss time par vo giri aur chal pi (and it just fell and went off). I was shocked by what happened and when I looked down, I saw a fountain of blood. n I me a video and spoke to doctor and got mitted."

Govinda, known for his dancing skills and impeccable comic timing from his films in late 1980s and 1990s, thanked his fans, Maharashtra Chief Minister Shinde, members from politics and film world for ir well wishes.
