Halle Bailey, boyfriend DDG announce birth of a baby boy, Nicki Minaj, others wish the couple

Popular actress and celebrity Halle Bailey recently took to her Instagram to announce to birth of a baby boy with her boyfriend DDG. The couple shared a photo in the said post, to share the joyous moment with their followers. 

Welcome to the world, Halle Bailey wrote for her son

Taking to her Instagram page, Bailey captioned the post with the text, “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo.. the world is desperate to know you”

In the said photo, Bailey could be seen holding Halo’s tiny hand with a gold bracelet, which had her name engraved on it. 

Halle's pregnancy speculations peaked at VMA awards

There had been a lot of speculation about Bailey’s pregnancy for a couple of months. Even as fans kept guessing relentless, Bailey too had casually remarked about it in one of her social media videos, asking people to ‘leave her alone’ about the subject. 

Hailey’s many attempts to keep her pregnancy private even included efforts like wearing poofy dresses at public event and finding new creative angles in her social media posts. Speculations about Hailey’s pregnancy reached a peak when the celebrity arrived at the MTV VMAs earlier this year wearing a flowing orange dress which seemed to strategically hide any signs of pregnancy.

Even Hailey’s Instagram post, the comments section are flooded with comments and congratulatory messages from colleagues and fraternity members. Nicki Minaj commented under the said post, “Welcome to earth, Halo. We’ve been expecting you. congrats, mama!”

DDG and Halle Bailey have been dating since March 2022.
