The singer was reportedly emotional after a sang a song dedicated to his two daughters Delphine and Willa, who he shares with his estranged wife Sophie Turner. The couple are set to take a divorce.

The Jonas Brothers performed in their home state New Jersey, where their family members, including their children were present in the audience. The singers' father Kevin Sr. was also spotted in the crowd along with Joe Jonas' daughters.

The singer was teary-eyed during the performance of their song Little Bird. This is not the first time that the song has made Joe Jonas cry. Previously, the singer took a special minute during the performance of the song at a tour stop in September to offer some love to parents. He said, "This next one is all about being a parent". He also wished a heartfelt "good luck" to those hoping to become parents.

What does the track Little Bird mean to Joe Jonas?

Back in August, Joe Jonas had opened up about the meaning of their track Little Bird, calling it a beautiful song to share with a other parents out there. He said to PEOPLE, "It's something that everyone, whether it's your own parent or parent figure that you have in your life, you can think of that person."

He added, "It's really exciting to know going into this, even just creatively, how we can set the stage for that song in particular."

Joe Jonas-Sophie Turner fight for daughters' custody

After announcing their separation, the couple agreed to a temporary custody arrangement for their two daughters following a court order that stated that both the individuals will alternately have custody of their daughters, who are aged 1 and 3, respectively.

The agreement came after Turner had filed a complaint against her ex-husband for the return of their daughters to the UK, accusing Joe Jonas of refusing to hand over their daughters' passport.

The couple announced their separation after four years of marriage. They tied the knot in 2019 after having dating each other for nearly 3 years.
