Malaysian singer Xu Jialing, 26, murdered by stalker ahead of wedding next year

Malaysian singer Xu Jualing has passed away at the age of 26. Her death came as a result of being murdered by a stalker who had been pursuing her for two years. Jualing was reportedly all set to get married in 2024 to her fiancé.

Xu Jialing fatally stabbed by a stalker fan

Xu Jialing passed away as a result of excessive bleeding after being stabbed eight times, across her heart, chest and back. The assailant is a 44-year old man who had been stalking Xu Jialing for a period of two years. The assailant attempted to end his life as well after the attack but is currently being treated at a hospital.

On the day of Xu Jialing's passing, she had reportedly decided to have dinner with the stalker who had been repeatedly demanding to see her. The meal descended into arguments leading to the attack. Witness reports led the police to the assailant who had been transporting Xu Jialing's body in his car. At the time of being arrested, the assailant repeatedly kept claiming to be her boyfriend.

Xu Jialing was supposed to be a bride in 2024

Prior to her tragic passing, Xu Jialing was all set to turn a bride in 2024. The singer was all set to exchange vows with her long time partner, Liu Yang. On December 19, the day after Xu Jialing's passing, Liu Yang took to his social media handles to express his disbelief and grief over the situation.

He wrote, "I was lucky that you came to my life and touched my heart. I cry just thinking about our happy moments. My world is collapsing little by little. I miss you. Don't leave."
