Mumbai Rains: Yash, Aamir Khan, Jayam Ravi, Kriti Sanon, Parineeti-Raghav Snapped During Showers

After a long hiatus, heavy rains returned to lash Mumbai and surrounding areas on Wednesday, prompting the Met department to issue a red alert for the city and its neighbouring districts, predicting "extremely heavy rainfall". As the weather turned pleasant, it was time for celebrities to step out with their family, friends and loved ones to enjoy the monsoon showers. Yash and his wife Radhika Pandit, Kriti Sanon, Parineeri Chopra and Raghav Chadha, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal, Avneet Kaur among others were snapped out and about in the city as the rain came pouring down.

Yash, one of the co-producers of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, was snapped on a quiet dinner date with his wife Radhika Pandit. The KGF star posed for the paparazzi with a slight drizzle falling on the ground. Elsewhere Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha arrived in Mumbai after their anniversary trip in Maldives.

Tamil star Jayam Ravi, who has been embroiled in a controversy after his divorce from Aarti, was also snapped at the airport. Reportedly, he is shifting to Mumbai. Kriti Sanon and Avneet Kaur braved the sultry weather to catch their flight and rued over the incessant rains.

Celebs snapped at film events despite rainfall

Zee Studios, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, and Sahyadri Films hosted the trailer launch event of the upcoming film Yek Number. The event was attended by Aamir Khan and other prominent directors and filmmakers from Bollywood. A picture went viral in which the PK star was seen posing with his Lagaan director Ashutosh Gowariker and 3 Idiots maker Rajkumar Hirani.

In another part of the city, a screening of the upcoming film Binny And Family, set to release on September 27, was held. Anjini Dhawan and the cast of the film were in attendance, alongside directors David Dhawan and Shubhash Ghai.
