A paparazzi account shared the quote of the actress who stressed that even after the divorce she and the cricketer are still ‘family’ for their son.

Addressing rumours about leaving India, Natasa said she could not return. She dismissed the rumours of her relocating and added that her son Agastya goes to school in the city and there was ‘no chance’ she could leave him behind. Natasa also stated despite the split, they continue to be a ‘family’ and their son makes them ‘family’. She also added that every year she continues to go back to her hometown at the same time..

The joint statement read, ”After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family.”

It further read, “We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us the privacy during this difficult and sensitive time.” The former couple turned off comments in their post, seemingly to avoid trolling.

The ex-couple tied the knot in May 2020 and renewed their wedding vows according to the Hindu and Christian rituals in February 2023, confirming their separation in July 2024. They are co-parens to their 4 years old son Agastya.
