The ensemble, designed by ace designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, has been paired with a traditional Banarasi leheriya dupatta from SWADESH, handcrafted by master artisans Vijay Kumar and Monika Maurya for over 40 days.
Worn with a jaali blouse crafted in naqshi and saadi gold along with silver Zardozi work that is finished with a sprinkle of Swarovski crystals, the outfit reflects Mrs. Nita Ambani’s vision of celebrating the incredible talent of Indian artisans, while sharing the cultural legacy of our country with the world.

During her visit to Banaras pre-wedding, Nita Ambani immersed herself in the spiritual essence of the city, participating in the Ganga Aarti and savouring local delicacies from chaat shops. Inspired by this experience, she decided to infuse the wedding celebrations with the rich cultural heritage of Varanasi. The Ambani family has engaged thousands of artisans, weavers, and craftsmen to recreate the city's holy and spiritual atmosphere at the wedding venue.

Designed by Manish Malhotra in collaboration with Swadesh Online, the saree featured intricate floral motifs and elegant zardosi work. This masterpiece, which took over six months to weave, highlights the exceptional craftsmanship of India's master artisans.
