Pakistani actress Sonya Hussaiyn is known for starring in hit TV shows, including Marasim and Nikah. The actress is currently in the news for slamming a netizen for comparing her to Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra. It happened when the actress dropped her photos in a white and black polka dot top, similar to Priyanka's black polka dot dress.

Sonya reacts to netizen's remark of copying Priyanka Chopra

Taking to her Instagram handle, Sonya shared a series of photos on her Instagram handle candidly posing in a black and white translucent polka dot top paired with a black pencil skirt. Sharing the photos, she wrote in the caption, "Whispers of demure reflection".

Soon after she shared the post, netizens flooded the comment section. While some lauded her looks, a section of the internet called out for copying Priyanka. A user wrote, "Priyanka chopra ban rahi ha apni taraf day." On seeing the comment, Sonya simply replied with a woman facepalming emoticon.

Another user called her, "Pakistani priyanka chopra". The third user wrote, "Definitely a similar version of Priyanka Chopra."

Who is Sonya Hussaiyn?

Sonya made her acting debut with a supporting role in the TV show Dareecha in 2011 and then went on to feature as a leading actress in shows such as Mujhay Sandal Kar Do (2012), Mein Hari Piya (2013), Mere Hamrahi (2013), Shikwa (2014), Marasim (2014) and Nikah (2015).  Apart from Pakistani TV shows, she has also appeared in movies, including Moor, Azaadi and Tich Button.
