Parvin Dabas Makes First Public Appearance After Near-fatal Car Accident At Asian Arm-Wrestling Cup

Parvin Dabas First Public Appearance: On September 21, the Khosla Ka Ghosla fame met with a car accident in Mumbai. He was admitted to the ICU in a private hospital in Mumbai. Amongst a month later, the 50-year-old actor has now made his first public appearance at an event.

On October 20, Parvin Dabas attended the eighth edition of the Asian Arm-Wrestling Cup and the seventh edition of the Asian Para-Arm Wrestling Cup in Mumbai. The actor also doubles as the owner of Pro Panga League and so he attended the event to motivate the athletes and boost their performance. Actor Anupam Kher was also in attendance at the event.

While out of danger, Parvin was spotted walking using the help of a walking stick. His wife and Mohabbatein fame actress Preeti Jhangiani could be seen supporting him. Parvin Dabas also spoke about how the event being held in India after a huge gap is a significant boost for the sport in the country. “Athletes from 9-10 countries are here to take part in the event. It feels amazing to know that India has a strong following of arm wrestling. The effort we’ve put in the last few years is paying off”, he stated.

Parvin Dabas returns home after a car accident, says ‘I am recovering’

On September 27, days after the accident, Parvin Dabas took to his Instagram account to share an update with his fans. The actor shared that he is home and is recovering well. He also expressed gratitude to all well-wishers.

In his statement, the actor shared, “I’m at home and recovering now. Thank you for your prayers and wishes.” He captioned the post,  "Thank you, everyone, for your concern and wishes (accompanied by folded hand emojis) I’m back home now and recovering…hope to be back on my feet soon". Several fans and well-wishers took to the comment section to wish the actor a speedy recovery.
