Pushpa x Cricket: Allu Arjun Wishes 'Brother' David Warner In 'Pushpa Raj' Style

Mumbai, Oct 27 (IANS) Telugu superstar Allu Arjun , who is awaiting release of his upcoming film ‘Pushpa 2: Rule’, has shared birthday wishes for Australian cricketer David Warner.

On Sunday, Allu took to Stories section of his Instagram, and shared a picture of David. He wrote on picture, “Many many happy returns of day to my bror”.

David is kwn as one of most entertaining cricketers and is kwn for his hilarious videos in which he swaps his face using filters over songs of film stars. He also performed ‘Srivalli’ hook-step from Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Pushpa: Rise’.

Meanwhile, Allu is geared up for release of ‘Pushpa 2: Rule’. film is w set to release on December 5 in cinemas, a day ahe of release of Vicky Kaushal-starrer ‘Chhaava’.

'Chhava', directed by Laxman Utekar, is based upon life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Indian warrior-king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in role of Yeshubai Bhosle, wife of Sambhaji Maharaj along with Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta in supporting roles.

As for ‘Pushpa 2: Rule’, buzz is quite high for film which is sequel to 2021 runaway hit ‘Pushpa: Rise’. film, which was released in thick of third wave of Covid-19 pandemic, emerged as a box-office winner at a time when majority of atres across nation were shut down.

Allu capitalised on audience and his fandom that he built over years owing to Hindi dub of his film on satellite.
