Rohit Bal Death Cause: The ace designer breathed his last at the age of 63. He was admitted to a hospital in South Delhi where he passed away on November 1. News about his ill health has been circulating since last year. His cause of death has been revealed now.

Rohit Bal cause of death revealed

 Rohit Bal, one of India’s most celebrated fashion designers, died on Friday at a south Delhi hospital following a heart attack, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) president Sunil Sethi told PTI. He was 63. Bal had been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Gurugram for cardiac issues in December last year. In October this year, he presented his collection at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI 2024 grand finale. "It's true that he has passed away. He had a cardiac arrest... heart failure. Rohit was a legend, we are completely shaken right now. We are trying to work out details for the cremation tomorrow," Sethi told PTI.

He had been admitted to Aashlok Hospital in Safdarjung Enclave and was being treated by Dr Alok Chopra, Sethi said. Doctors tried their best for two hours to revive him, a heartbroken Sethi added.

FDCI mourns the loss of ‘Gudda’ Rohit Bal 

As soon as the news of his passing surfaced, the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) took to their official social media account to share a note on his passing. The note read, "We mourn the passing of Legendary designer Rohit Bal. He was a founding member of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). Known for his unique blend of traditional patterns with modern sensibilities, Bal's work redefined Indian fashion, and inspired generations. His legacy of artistry, and innovation along with forward thinking will live on in the fashion world. Rest in peace GUDDA," the council wrote.

Rohit Bal was one of the most well-known designers not just in the country but also internationally. He stared his career in 1986 and his last show was last month at the Lakme Fashion Week.
