Rohit Bal Death: One of India’s most celebrated fashion designers, Rohit Bal died on Friday at a south Delhi hospital following a heart attack. He was 63. Bal presented his final collection Kaaynaat: A Bloom in the Universe at the Lakme Fashion Week X FDCI 2024 grand finale on October 13. Bal was known for his exquisite designs, which often became the spotlight at celebrity weddings.

After an epic wedding in Lake Como, Bollywood couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh held their wedding reception in Mumbai in November 2018. Deepika wore an intricate Chikankari lehenga by designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, while Ranveer complemented her in a Rohit Bal creation. The couple's matching ivory and gold ensembles looked every bit royal.

Rohit Bal designed the decor for the wedding reception of Rang De Basanti actor Kunal Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan's niece Naina Bachchan. The bride and groom who married in Seychelles islands in a private ceremony, hosted a post-wedding function in Delhi, where the Bachchan family showed up in full strength.
