Samay Raina mocks troller for Deepika Pukone joke on show

On Monday, November 18, Comedian Samay Raina took to his Instagram Stories and shared a screenshot of a Reddit notification about controversy surrounding joke. "Comedian's joke on Deepika's depression sparks outrage," re title. Samay wrote alongside, "To everyone who is outraging on Twitter, one request: Could you please outrage in my YouTube comment section so I get some revenue from traction, at least."

Comedian questions Deepika's ‘break-up wala depression’

On November 17 episode, Banti Banerjee joined show as a contestant, talking about her own experience of embracing morhood and post-partum depression, Banti said, "Deepika Pukone also became a mor recently. Now she knows what depression really looks like." audience responded with laughter. She continued, "I’m not trying to insult break-up wala depression. Actually, I am. What is break-up wala depression? Real depression is when your sleep is interrupted because your child wakes up in middle of night. 

Anyone dealing with break-up wala depression should experience post-partum; y’ll forget everything." Although Banti won show and prize money, both she and show faced criticism online for downplaying mental health issues.
