In a recent interview with Mid-Day, Sushmita Sen finally dressed being linked with Lalit Modi. Rumours of Lalit Modi and Sushmita Sen being romantically involved were sparked by an Instagram post me by former which referred to Sen as his "better-half". While Sushmita never agreed to or denied big claim, Modi's post alone was taken as a confirmation of ir rumored romance. dressing same, Sushmita said she felt need to talk about issue - just once, as people tend to misconstrue somebody's silence.

She said, "If I was going to marry someone, I would be married to m. I don’t try. I eir do it or I don’t...I just put out one post on Instagram because sometimes I think when people keep quiet, ir silence is mistaken for weakness or fear. I just wanted to put out one post to let m know that I’m laughing. After that, I was done with it."

Sushmita Sen on being labeled a gold digger

Sushmita was quick to point out irony that came with social media platforms calling her a gold digger while simultaneously monetising those very attacks.
