Sydney Sweeney revealed emotional turmoil she and her Euphoria castmates experienced following Angus Cloud's accidental overdose in July. Describing shock and grief, she emphasised ongoing support among cast, ackwledging profound impact of Cloud's absence on set.“[My co-stars and I] were constantly on phone with each or crying, because it was just such a shock. I don’t think it’ll truly feel real or hit me until we’re filming, and I won’t see Angus on set.”

She added, “[At least] when we are filming, all of our eyes are on each or, and we’re re for each or, just in a different way than we’re able to when we’re all in very separate places in world. It’s really interesting when someone passes away in our industry because y’re still alive in so many forms.”

About Angus Cloud's death

Angus Cloud died as a result of a lethal combination of fentanyl, cocaine, benzodiazepines, methamphetamine, and ors, Alameda County Coroner has confirmed to Variety. His death has been ruled out as an accidental overdose. At time of Angus's death, his family asked for privacy as y were grieving and coping with loss.

Angus Cloud's family released a statement after his sudden demise and wrote, " only comfort we have is kwing Angus is w reunited with his dad, who was his best friend. Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to ors that y are t alone and should t fight this on ir own in silence." Angus rose to fame for his role as Fez, a drug dealer, on Zendaya starrer Euphoria. series marked his first Hollywood role, and he went on to appear in music videos, like Becky G’s Mamiii.
