Indian cricketer Virat Kohli once again proved why he is called 'G.O.A.T' by his ardent fans as he bore the responsibilities of the Indian team after two quick wickets taken by South Africa during the T20 World Cup Final. He scored 76 runs in the match and was announced Man Of The Match after India lifted the T20 World Cup trophy after 17 years. During his acceptance speech, he announced his retirement from the T20 format, leaving his fans a bit sad.
Well, the cricketer had a fulfilling journey with many ups and downs. However, he could walk past all of them as he had the best companion by his side to support him - wife and actress Anushka Sharma. Now, you must be thinking why we are talking about him - it is because he has penned a heartfelt gratitude note to Anushka crediting his win to the Zero actress.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Virat shared an adorable photo that shows the couple laughing, holding glasses of beverages. They are posing against a scenic background of a mountain area. Anushka is adorning a white short dress, while Virat can be seen in a black T-shirt paired with off-white pants. In the caption, he wrote, "None of this would remotely be possible without you my love. You keep me humble, grounded and you always say it how it is with absolute honesty. I couldn’t be more grateful for you. This victory is as much yours as it’s mine. Thank you and I love you for being YOU," followed by red heart emoticons.

Anushka shared a photo of happy Virat holding the trophy in his hand on her Instagram handle and wrote, “AND ….. I love this man @virat.kohli . So grateful to call you my home - now go have a glass of sparkling water for me to celebrate this! ”
She also shared a series of photos from the ceremony and some precious moments right after they won the match on her social media handle. In the caption, she shared her and Virat's daughter Vamika's "biggest concern". The actress said that their daughter saw the players crying on the TV so she was concerned if all the players had someone to hug them. "Our daughter’s biggest concern was if all the players had someone to hug them after she saw them cry on tv….. Yes, My darling, they were hugged by 1.5 billion people. What a phenomenal victory and what a legendary achievement!! CHAMPIONS - CONGRATULATIONS!!" read the caption.
Anushka and Virat got married in an intimate ceremony in December 2017 in Florence, Italy. In January 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, Vamika and on 15 February 2024, they were blessed with their second child, a boy named Akaay.
