A video of a cobra battling with a gang of meerkats has surfaced on social media and is gaining a lot of attention. It has gathered over 7,000 views

A video of an intense fight between a gang of meerkats and a cobra surfaced on internet and is gaining attention from netizens all across social media. video which has been shared by Indian Forest Service official Susanta Nanda has gared over 7,000 views. It has been captioned as, “Meerkat gang vs cobra. Amusing stand off....”.

'deadliest combination'

Meerkat is a small mongoose native of Sourn Africa. 59 second video is shot in a desert like area. It shows how a gang of meerkats approach cobra. This was after cobra hissed at gang. Soon after this, cobra was seen making an attempt to attack meerkats, to which one meerkat fought back. battle continued for a while till cobra accepted its defeat. video ends when cobra is seen moving away from gang as meerkats stand patiently staring at cobra.

video has mand to gar 579 likes and 83 Retweets and comments. Few people have retweeted video giving ir own caption, while ors have simply commented. While few say this is deadliest combination in world, ors commented why is this a standoff?

This is t first time a cobra has gained attention on social media. A few days back a 12-15 feet long king cobra was rescued from a well in Burujhari vill in Odisha on July 22. According to reports, incident took place in Ganjam district of state and snake was rescued by forest officials, who later released it into wild.
