Rituparna Sengupta in Singapore amid COVID-19, still manages to help needy in Kolkata

National Award-winning actor Rituparna Sengupta is in Singapore amid COVID-19 pandemic. However, she has still managed to help the needy in her city Kolkata.

Several Indians were t in India when COVID-19 created a scare, prompting a lockdown, that is currently underway. While some like Anupam Kher and Mohan sisters decided to come back home and self-quarantine mselves, many like Mouni Roy, Shweta Pandit decided to stay at countries y were in at that time. Ar name in latter category is Rituparna Sengupta, who is in Singapore at moment.

Despite t being able to travel back to country, actor is still trying her best to help those who are facing a hard time amid pandemic. National Award-winning star is helping underprivileged with essential items like groceries and hygiene kits with help of an NGO  Kolkata Endeavour Society. Main Meri Patni Aur Woh star was quoted as saying that she is missing her city in time of crisis, and felt like contributing in whichever way she could. 

She said that she was overwhelmed to be a mentor of NGO, and encour and support those initiatives that seek to ‘save humanity.’ Rituparna credited her manr for overseeing initiative with a lot of care and conveyed her gratitude to all who supported her in mission.

actor is quarantining with her family at moment. She has also contributed to PM-CARES relief fund, and West Bengal CM’s fund. Rituparna regularly takes to Twitter to urge all to follow instructions of PM Narendra Modi and stay at home.
