Their appearance comes amid rumours of their reconciliation. A video of the ex-couple at the court is now doing rounds on social media.

On November 21, Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth appeared at the court in Chennai. This comes after reports that the ex-couple skipped court appearances thrice before. The actor and director duo were spotted in masks in the courtroom.

As per reports, the divorce matter of Dhanush and Aishwarya has been deferred by a week. The final verdict on the same will be pronounced on November 27. The couple got married in 2004 in a grand wedding in Chennai. They are parents to two sons and decided to part ways in 2022.

The couple met each other in the early 2000s and dated for a brief period. Their dating life remained largely out of the public eye and most came to know about their relationship only when they tied the knot in 2004. They are co-parents to two sons Yatra and Linga. Despite their divorce, the couple continues to remain cordial with each other.
 

Following their separation, Dhanush put out a statement on his social media account that read, “Eighteen years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well-wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do Respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this."
