Dulquer Salmaan recently starred in the music video of Jasleen Royal and Arijit Singh’s single Heeriye. In one of the promotional interviews for the track, the actor opened up on his upcoming film King of Kotha. Dulquer spilled the beans about the climax  of the movie.

Dulquer Salmaan reveals reason behind re-shooting climax

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Dulquer was asked about his upcoming project King of Kotha. Addressing the rumour of film’s climax being shot twice, the actor said, “We did reshoot the climax but not because there was anything wrong with the first climax. When I was watching the movie, I felt that there should be a climax that is more grand than the first scenes in the movie.”

The team behind King of Kotha

King of Kotha is touted to be a gangster movie, which will be full of action scenes. Apart from the Malayalam actor, it will also star Prasanna, Shammi Thilakan, Anikha Surendran, Nyla Usha, Shabeer Kallarakkal and Sudhi Koppa. Other cast member include Shanthi Krishna, Senthil Krishna, Rajesh Sharma, Saran Shakthi, Rititka Singh and Manju Vani. 

King of Kotha’s production started back in September 2022 . The shoot was wrapped up in May 2023. Reportedly, the final shooting schedule of the film took place in  Kochi and along the Valappu beach. The film is set to hit screens this Onam. The pan-India film will be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada
