Dulquer Salmaan, Prithviraj express grief over former Kerala CM Oommen Chandy's death

Oommen Chandy, former Kerala Chief Minister, died at of 79 on Tuesday. politician was ailing from throat cancer and was admitted to a private hospital in Bengaluru. Several celebrities including Dulquer Salmaann and Tovi Thomas extended ir condolences to Oommen Chandy’s family.

Oommen Chandy's passing was mourned by Dulquer Salmaan, who posted a photo on his Instagram stories and wrote, "Loss of a true legend!" Prithviraj Sukumaran also expressed grief on his Instagram handle. Many more well-kwn people, including Tovi Thomas and Suresh Gopi, used ir social media accounts to express ir sorrow over Oommen Chandy's passing.

Kunchacko Boban said Oommen Chandy's passing was a huge loss for people of Kerala as well as a personal sorrow for him, actor wrote, "............ Oommen Chandy Sir ............ person at forefront among most popular leaders in Kerala politics.A personality that can be said undoubtedly as synym for selflessness in public and personal life. His demise is a huge loss to people of Kerala and to me personally. My family and I join family in prayer for pain of this loss!!"

What's next for Dulquer Salmaan? 

On work front, Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in King of Kotha. Its teaser was released earlier in June, which hinted that film will see him play an anti-hero.  supporting cast of movie includes Shabeer, Prasanna, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nyla Usha, Cheman Vid, Gokul Suresh and more. King of Kotha marks directorial debut of Abhilash Joshiy and it is scheduled for a Onam release.
