Ed Sheeran shares decade-old pic with Queen ahead of his platinum jubilee performance

Entire England is currently basking in celebrations as Queen Elizabeth II has completed 70 years on British throne. celebrations kicked off on June 2 and will continue for four days. four-day event started with famous Trooping Colour ceremony. As Red Arrows flypast over central London, Queen was also heard saying "how incredible." celebration will also see several performances by celebrated British artists. English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is also set to perform at platinum jubilee on Sunday, June 5. Ahe of his performance,  Shape Of You singer recently shared a throwback picture with Queen and penned an emotional te on how he has come a long way in his musical career.

British singer recently took to his Instagram handle to share a photo with Queen Elizabeth II. In photo, Ed Sheeran could be seen sharing smiles with Queen as y shook each or's hands. Along with photos, singer also penned an emotional te and mentioned two deces ago he decide to pursue music after watching Queen's Golden Jubilee on TV. He furr penned he got a chance to perform at Diamond Jubilee ceremony, which was held in 2012. He also ded how his life "keeps coming full circle in lovely ways" as he is set to perform at Platinum Jubilee celebration.

He wrote, "20 years ago I decided I wanted to pick up a guitar because I watched Golden Jubilee on tv, saw Eric Clapton play Layla and said ‘that’s what I wanna do’. 10 years later I played A Team at Diamond Jubilee, and w 10 years on I’m playing Platinum Jubilee this Sunday." "Life is weird how it keeps coming full circle in lovely ways. Tune in on Sunday and see ya re," he furr ded.
