Entertainment News Live Updates - 'Sooryavanshi' release date postponed

Fans of Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor had gathered for the theme song launch of the movie Baaghi 3 in Mumbai. They were graced by the presence of the actors, along with director Ahmed Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The fans then started requesting Tiger to show them the whole film instead of just the theme song. Tiger, feeling happy and excited, asked his producer and director for the same. Ahmed and Sajid gave a nod to this idea.

The prints of the movie Baaghi 3 were then loaded in the theatre in the next 30 minutes. This is the first time that a movie was shown to the fans four days before its release date. The fans whistled and clapped in celebration on of the screening as well as for the birthday of their favourite star. They kept on appreciating the movie and also praised Tiger who made it possible for them to watch Baaghi 3's special screening before its release. 

Sooryavanshi is the fourth film in the Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe. The first three films from this universe are Singham 1, 2 and Simmba starring Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh respectively. The fourth film from this universe, Sooryavanshi, was going to release on March 24, 2020. Reports have it that the makers of Andhadhun Telugu remake are keen on getting Tabu on board. Reports claim the makers want her to reprise the role of Simi, in the Andhadhun Telugu remake as well. However, neither the makers nor the actor has confirmed the news.

In conversation with a leading news daily, Shraddha Kapoor spoke about this practice and remarked that if she has been roped in for a film, that film was meant to come her way. Adding to the same, Shraddha Kapoor revealed that she will bring her A-game to the table that will add value to those films with her uniqueness. The actor also remarked that the practice is ‘absolutely right’.
