'Forget gold, invest in Indian Movie CDs,' quips Asha Bhosle as desperate Pakistan cracks-down
Amid Pakistan banning Indian advertisements and CDs, singer Asha Bhosale took to Twitter and hit out a tweet asking people to invest in Indian film CD's rather than investing in gold

Pakistan, who has been raising a hue and cry over abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir by PM Narendra Modi-led government hoping world would tice and respond, has on Friday decided to ban sale of CDs of Indian movies. This move is among a few or petty actions taken by neighboring country to show it opposes total integration of Kashmir with India. Reacting to same, Asha Bhosale took to Twitter and asked people to leave gold and invest in Indian film CDs, as it will soon be in 'high demand'.

Meanwhile, speaking about ban, Indian actor Raza Murad in an exclusive conversation with Republic TV stated that decision taken by Pak government is ir loss and t India's, as country was earning in crores from revenue of entertainment industry. "Ultimately, it is ir loss. It is public of Pakistan that is crazy after our films and y will watch it legally or illegally. It is a very tiny territory for us and it will t make even 0.5% difference to us".

This step comes after Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) banned airing of advertisements featuring Indian artists and India-made products. "We have banned Indian advertisements and launched a crackdown on CD shops to confiscate Indian movies," Dawn newspaper quoted Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information, as saying.
She said Interior Ministry had already started a crackdown on Indian movies in federal capital and it would be expanded to or parts of country soon in collaboration with provincial governments. "Today interior ministry raided some compact disc shops in Islamabad and confiscated Indian movies."
