'Game of Thrones' had to reshoot intimate scene due to an 'excited' horse, reveals writer

'Game of Thrones' write George RR Martin recently revealed that one intimate sequence from GOT had to be cut down due to an excited horse

Game of Thrones was HBO's flagship series before coming to an end with eighth season. While re was a vocal backlash by fans for t liking  eighth season, series pretty much enjoyed unanimous praise from viewers. series was based on vels written by George RR Martin who has since n featured in a number of interviews. He was also a part of creative team during initial seasons, w, he has spilled beans on a fun incident which took place during filming of first season.

George RR Martin reveals GOT secret

Emilia Clarke in Game of Thrones was cast after a Tamzin Merchant h alrey signed for role of Daenerys Targaryen. In his book titled Fire Cant Kill a Dragon, writer George RR Martin h revealed that an intimate scene between Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen played by Tamzin Merchant was being filmed, sequence was eventually scrapped out as actor was recast before pilot episode even debuted. During filming of intimate scene, Jason Momoa and Tamzin were 'having sex' when camera guy suddenly started to laugh.

This led to crew finding out that horse y h assumed to be a female was actually a male who got 'excited' by watching two humans. George RR Martin also revealed that scene y h shot before featured an 'ermous horse schlong' which did t look well on-screen eir. scene did t turn out to be as expected which tumbled down to entire sequence getting slashed down and Emilia Clarke picking up mantle of Daenerys Targaryen.

RR Martin goes on to reveal that sequence between Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo was later changed from seduction to forceful submission. original version of scene did t feature Jason's Khal Drogo forcing himself on Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen. Clarke's co-star from GOT, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau h recently featured in Times of London where he deemed sequence between two is tough and degring towards London-based actor Emilia Clarke. GOT's last season concluded on a divisive te in 2019.
