Glastonbury music festival cancels 50th anniversary event due to coronavirus

"We are so sorry to anunce this, but we are going to have to cancel Glastonbury 2020," organisers said in a statement on social media. “Following new government measures anunced this week, and in times of such unprecedented uncertainty, this is w our only viable option,” it said. organisers furr added saying that tickets for 2020 event will be applicable in 2021 as y hope to conduct famous event next year. "We are longer able to spend next three months with thousands of crew here on farm, helping us with ermous job of building infrastructure and attractions needed to welcome more than 200,000 people to a temporary city in se fields,” Glastonbury organizers said in a statement, adding y hoped situation will have improved by late June, date of festival. “We apologize to 135,000 people who already paid a deposit,” event organizers furr added.
